Can I set up a AIM buddy chat for chex quest fan fourms? I can get AIM running on most windows versions. Btw if we are going to do this I want to have the info on a another post. Btw AIM means AOL instant messager. Btw AIM is dead but there is a way to revive it.

I haven't used AIM since probably 2006ish. It's probably not what you want to hear but I'd recommend you get on a newer OS (Linux at least, if you don't want to use Windows 10). Pidgin has support for some chat clients, but I am not sure which, if any, still actually work.
As far as I know, Discord is the most popular option, and IRC is still hanging out I think, but they've had a lot malware of bot problems lately, unfortunately.
