New Computer Get!

I finally have my new computer working!
SPECS:
AMD FX 8core (4.0GHZ 4.2 overclock)
2 sea gate 500GB hard drives
12 GBs RAM
Nvidia 650 (1GB GDDR5)
Blu-Ray Drive

This isn't really a tech support question.

But, the computer is awesome. I think it's better to pair a AMD GFX card with an AMD Processor, they run better together then Nvidia does with a AMD processor. (From what I'm told.) But still, that computer is incredible. Should run anything you toss at it with flying colors. I'm not sure what "Flying colors" means, but....

Your build looks rad! I should probably put in another 4 gigs of RAM what with all the browser tabs I have open all the time

I'm running AMD w/ Nvidia and it runs very nicely. I've never tried an all-AMD build though. I'd be so pumped to start that rig for the first time, Pikazec.

CM, what video card are you running/how much did you pay for it? I'm looking in the market for a higher-end GPU.

so, not as latest model as Pika's, but still pretty good. Haven't gotten to test it out yet because I still haven't managed to get the rest of the parts I need -_-. It should run quite a bit fine though. I payed 200$ for it.

 I'm glad for you! I just bought a Toshiba with 500 gibs hard drive,8 gbs of ram,E1 vision amd. I live in a small town,so the selection is limited.I'm sure your neww computer is better than mine.Hope it has a Windows 8! Pretty good os.

Well,I like it,but it's okay if nobody else does.I still like windows 7 better, but a close friend of mine needed a new computer,so I gave her my win 7. Mostly people ask me if I know how to use a Window 8.Then they look at me funny when I say yes.    Almost forgot. Windows * now knows I'M the boss not it.*HEH*

Nice Zec!  I would personally never purchase an AMD processor, but from what I've heard, they've really gone up in quality.  In terms of speed, AMD gives you more bang for your buck.  Be sure your case has plenty of ventilation, though.  AMD processors are notorious for running hot.
