So I have a Windows 7 HP Pavilion g6 (2010 but nowhere near EOL), and I was wondering if this old rustbucket would be good for modding on. It was, but now I can't get VC 2016 runtimes to work on it, so I wont be modding for a while. I HIGHLY recommend these laptops to people who are super clumsy, as I have dropped mine about 20 times and all I got was a minor chip. This old thing is about 7 years old now, and still works fine. I might add an extra 5gb of RAM to it. So, does anyone else have a Pavilion?
