Has this project passed the Point of No Return as to the eternal void of dead projects?

No, just stuck in a hole. That hole is textures and sprites conversion. Also, school is getting tougher with exams comming up. If  I could get some nice looking sprites and textures, I would release a demo.

What I've been doing with textures (like the door) is like-a so:
Take the image and copy it,
paste the image somewhere else with another name,
copy the bottom and right sides in paint (or graphicsgale, or GIMP, whatever)
make the image 64X64
resize to where its bigger again (but with white space)
take slices of the sides and squeeze them into the box
make it small again

That's how I did things like the door and whatnot, but man, after pallete conversion the Oxygen Canister was UGLY! so i dithered all over it by hand to simulate more colors.

so far that has worked for me.

P.S: PM me if you say, don't want to spend the time to convert the flem worm, and I'll do it for you

I have a complete sprite set for the flem worm and the chex guy if you want them.
I also have all of the health items and I've changed up some of the corpses into plants.

Just gimme the word and I'll give you an attachment.

Also, batman, if you would like it, I have the registered version of wolf3d. This has all 6 episodes, all sprites, musics, and textures. I could share the data files, if you'd like...also, the site I linked you to with all the editing tools has a good windows wolf port...it runs off just the data files.

Isn't that stealing Wolf3D? I would feel bad to do that.... besides, who's ever heard of a 60 LEVEL CQ?!?! or maybe it's just for more weapons...

But If i remember, that means only the brown guard, the blue guard, and Hans are available to work with.
...But I don't have the 3 episode version...or the shareware...

you get the brown guard, the blue guard, Hans, and the guard dog
and you get these weapons:
Knife
Pistol
Machine Gun
Chain Gun

plus you get one secret level (which is extremely annoyingly confusing, because it's like a maze)!

All the weapons are in the first one I think...except the Chaingun.

I dont' like t he secret level either, i dont' go that way

Well, I know that the machine gun is in it, though maybe not the chaingun.

I haven't ever beaten Wolf3D, so I wouldn't know that much about the assortment.

O_O thanx for the sarcasm...Noah's ark 3d was a fethed up piece of junk.

...I think the chaingun is at least in the last level of shareware.
Wolf 3d only has 4 weapons total. it has also:
brown trooper
blue trooper
white trooper
guard shepard
zombi nazi
(plus several bosses...6 i think)
