Looking good! The lighting is also really well done! Have you considered using shaders? I'm not really sure how they're implemented in GZdoom but, I've seen them do a lot of cool lighting effects that would probably save you some time.

Generally, you are discouraged from creating second accounts. Especially since we don't even know what 'old one' your referring to.

I never understood the difference between TH8A and TH8RS?

Plus, with that 644 Pounds, you can get yourself a nice T500RS with a TH8A/RS. Not sure if youll save but the T500RS  TH8A/RS is more worthy, in my opinion at least. But Im still looking for the shifter in Indonesia desperately.

Whew, talk about posts that didn't age well!  When I saw that Boingo bumped the thread, I was shocked that I was the OP.

Just wanted to stop in and say Kevin's right here, used laptops are absolutely the way to go. It's an old topic but I'm glad I get to post this info somewhere.

Look at the enterprise grade laptops, here are my favorites:
- the Dell Latitude series (I like my E7450 a lot, it runs great, even with Linux) ($80-250)
- the Lenovo P series (e.g. P50, P51) (around $500 but very nice)

I don't think I'd ever buy a new laptop, or spend more than $200-500 on a laptop ever again.

One more thing, stay away from laptops that have 3D accelerator cards (Nvidia Optimus, etc.), laptops with just integrated (e.g., intel HD) graphics are more reliable.

I'll never buy a gamer laptop again, from my own experience and from what I heard from others, they are always unreliable. If you can build your own (even small form factor) desktop instead, do that, but if you really really need a gamer laptop (e.g., if you travel and game) then be prepared for some flakiness.
