Title: This mod will continue development in Zandronum

We're not done with this yet.

This mod is compatible with Zandronum beta 1, and I will continue to make it compatible by any means necessary until I'm ready to upgrade to another engine.

The name of this project has been changed to "Chex Pack" in the server names and Zand forum topic, I do like "Chex Multiplayer Pack" too, though.

ChexSTPackP16.pk3 was the last Skulltag release. It's possible that P17 won't work correctly in Skulltag.


EDIT - Actually, P16-2 does not work at all in Skulltag, it is made for Zandronum.

Um, one question. Is there any cool new features Zandronum adds? (like, acs commands, etc)

Not by a long shot. There is still much to do! I'm still working on Episode 4, and then Episodes 1-3 need to be revised and extended to full-length episodes, a Duel hub needs creation, more Duel maps need to be created... There's much that still needs to be done.

Speaking of Co-op Maps... E4M1-E4M5 + E4M7 and the Secret Map(s) are Complete minus a few a tidbits that require testing, removal and a different implementation. E4M6 is being started, E4END (Boss Level) has a Concept and Boss Monster concept, and E4M8 has not been started. Screenshots of new maps will come eventually.

The next release will actually be for Skulltag because Zandronum 1.0 was very buggy, and the next two releases had dramatic changes and I want to wait until Zandronum is more stable.

Guess I better try Zandronum, since I've never heard of it! I'm assuming it's another source port you're moving to since the end of Skulltag

Zandronum is basically Skulltag 98E (the next version of Skulltag) without the skulltag sprites, actors, and music, all that is now contained in skulltag_data.pk3 and skulltag_actors.pk3.
