POLL: To release or not to release?
« on: October 11, 2008, 02:52:14 PM »
All right people, I'm nearly there.  I'm about an easy two hours' work from a viable release.  Here's the thing: I have not yet implemented the voices to the voiced cutscenes yet.  Now, it has always been my intention to release two versions, one with voices, one using tips.  The question now becomes, should I released the voiceless version as soon as it's done, or should I hold it back and release it at the same time as the voiced version?  The voiced version may take a few days, maybe more than a week to fully make.  No, there's no trouble, just the fact that dealing with all of the sound files will take a little time and I have other obligations.

So, would you like to wait, or should I release the unvoiced version as soon as I have it finished?

I don't like voices very much. Please release.

I said release for 2 reasons:
1. I've been waiting for this FOREVER! XD
2. You can wait till a later release (maybe the one after) to implement voices...
Don't remember me as I was...I was an idiot.

I'm not saying I'm going to wait a full version to implement it, only that it will take me longer to work on getting the voices in, and thus delay the release.  I'm still going to do the voices in this version, just in different files.  (AKA, files: CoFPv0.15v.wad = voices, CoFPv0.15.wad = no voices)
