Update:

While I wait for an opportunity to add the fragglescripted cutscenes, I have set about trying to beautify my levels a bit.  This involves a little bit of texture making, and I want to know what you think of a texture:

Looks like a plain texture straight out of Chex Quest. I'm sure it will look alright.

Well, it was inevitable.  I don't know if this will put it in suspended or dead projects, but I'm not going to release another version until i have time to fully remodel the current maps.  I looked at the screenshots in the spring cleaning topic, and just convinced myself that, even with the scripting, this mod stinks.  I am really not much of a mapper, and I have basically gotten what little following I have by being able to slightly cover my butt with my knowledge of fragglescript.  Since GZDooM is the new thing, people can do their DECORATE and whatever the crud the stuff ingame is called (ACS?) and they can pretty much do whatever I can in a much shorter time (outside of cutscenes, I have yet to see on done right in GZDooM), this mod is about obsolete.

So I'm finally giving up?  I'm leaving for dead the engine that everyone else already abandoned years ago?  No way, I have neither the time nor the patience to learn DECORATE or ACS, I'll just wait until I can put some decent mapping with my fluent fragglescripting.  Unfortunately, due to the fact that I graduate in May, have college probably starting with summer sessions in June, then the end of the <snip>, that could take anywhere from a few months to forever.

We'll see how things work out.
