hold up there... does this still use GZdoom or did you switch to legacy?

I'm using ZDL to have your mod as the add-on to TUCQ, and it doesn't do a thing

it seems like 4 out of five mods don't work. I blame Vista as usual.

It's not an add-on to TUCQ. It's an independant PWAD. And it's GZdoom. Don't you think if I switched engines, I'd tell everyone?

yesss, it started.

however, I have no guns... and no fists/spoon either. The strife weapons also don't make any noise. There are also a lot of those floating exclamation points (I forget what those mean....)


Methinks something didn't load right.

Episode 3 is the best. Play that. Use the Chex Quest WAD as the IWAD. For best results, play with a GZdoom version before the Chex Quest support was thrown in.

almost perfect. Really like what you did with the music  ;D


But.... I can't switch weapons. This isn't the first time that's happened with mods either. Do you know why that is?

The "!"s mean YOUR DOIN' IT WRONG. Basically, just drag-and-drop the Generation 2 wad onto the GZDoom executable, <snip> and you should be all set.

Anyways, sorry if I got a little excited.  ;)

NOTE: 75 beat me to the finish, so I don't know if he fixed it or not. :)

FAIL. It boot, with no <!>s, but, again, I can't switch from one weapon to another without using scottholman (idfa)

ChexCommander posted the method for running my other mod, TNCQG2. 75, it must be Vista to your non-weapon-switchability.

I got it to work pretty well, I think there's something that just keeps me from picking up weapons.

If I use idfa or summon [weaponname] in the console, I can bypass that.

man that's hard.... is it even supposed to be beatable? very good though, I'll have to beat the rest of it next time I get a chance   ;)

anyone know how to summon the phasing zorcher using the console?

I've got the rest of them, e.g. the propuslor is "summon rocketlauncher", but all combinations of "summon plasmagun" don't work.

1.1. Strangely... if I run out of ammo on another weapon the game automatically switches to the plasma gun even if I can't do it by hitting the number keys. I kind of got around this problem by using "summon clip" and using the clip up then having it switch to the plasma gun for me.

also, I can't seem to get off of E3M3. Is there no exit or am I just not looking hard enough (don't like to cheat unless I have to)?
