Anyone a fan of Metroid? Nintendo announced two new Metroid games at E3 this year, and I've been a huge fan of the series for a long time and it's honestly the most exciting news I've heard in forever. My favourite is Metroid: Zero Mission.

Been a long time. Although, since the series never came to PC, I've never actually played a single Metroid game.


In other news, I picked up Prey in the Steam sale, and it's an excellent game. Highly recommended.

You can pretty easily emulate them on PC, that's how I played the majority of them.

I've been enjoying Awesomenauts even more than I did previously, as it has now gone free-to-play. The community has grown quite a lot since then. Makes me happy.

Well, this is it. The closest we're probably ever going to get to Half-Life 3. A "fan-fiction" written by one of the original writers of the game, a glimpse into what might have been, had Valve ever actually made the game.

Honestly, this is a pretty sad way for the series to end. Years of promises from Valve, talk of increasing ambition that never went anywhere, continual bleeding of the best talent from the company as well as the goodwill of the fans. And the grand finale of the story reduced to nothing more than a few cryptic paragraphs on a blog by one of the team's former writers.

A toast to the game that never was.

Dont know if it is the cup of tea of anyone here but i just finished Doki Doki Literature Club... Personally i loved it but idk if i can ever sleep again.... i mean its just a happy go fun game..... all smiles.....

I've heard a lot of good stuff about this game. I'm really tempted to give it a go. Would you still recommend it to someone who has never played a visual novel game like this before?
