Separating getting slimed and getting zorched.

This is the topic where we try to sort out how to separate getting zorched and getting slimed. This has been quite a challenge, so I hope we can endeavor together to find a solution. I may one day be able to get up and take the time to learn DECORATE or anything else needed to program in this stuff, but until then, I'll need all of the help that I can get. So, for those that are interested, here is what I'm looking for:

Hit by any FlemoidSlimed
Hit by other playerZorched
Damaging floorSlimed
Crushing ceilingZorched (though it doesn't make much difference to me, since this isn't possible in normal Chex Quest situations, anyway)
Bad fallZorched (again, it doesn't make a lot of difference, though there are some notable mods out there that use this affect)
PLAY=slimed
PLY2=zorched

That's all I can think of for now, but I'll update it as stuff comes along.

Ok, well I'll help, but I need the names of the sprites for the zorcked/slime death.

It really can be anything that begins with PLAY...decorate can choose any frame it needs, tru? kinda like the archvile with its frames...

but i like those situations/results.

Well, since you cannot control the damagetype of the crushing ceilings, falling, and damaging floors, they will all have to be the same death sequence. This calls for them all to be slimed, because the damaging floors ARE slime. You need a simple Death state for that. With the Chex Warrior zorching someone else, you need to add the property DamageType "Zorch" to all of the Chex Warrior's projectiles and bullet puffs. (http://www.zdoom.org/wiki/Classes:BulletPuff) Then, you would need to add this state with the zorching frames to the Player Class: Death.Zorch.

Manny, I believe slimed has one m in it.  I've seen "slimmed" about 3 times now.  ;)

Also, for flemoid attacks, we could have "noextremedeath".

Here is a quote from the ZDoom Wiki Article, "Actor Flags"

Also, this would fit perfectly for Manny Cav's Ideas.
