I'm currenlt using free download manger but im having trouble getting it to work with filefront any ideas

That's weird. FDM works just fine for me on Filefront.

Bah. I can't ever get any download managers to work with FileFront. I'm lucky to get FileFront to work AT ALL with Microsoft Internet Explorer, so that may be your problem.
