@BC well you were talking about how your power bill was sky rocketing and hardly anybody using the server. that is why I suggested hamachi again for private matches. but since  yo usaid you got a much better less power consuming server with Wake-on-lan feature then I See no reason to use hamachi now it could be a quick fix when say the power goes off at your house/apartment/dorm/place of living due to a thunderstorm or other weather problems

I really appreciate all the help and advice, Rexxor. Hamachi will definitely be second on my list if Skulltag ever screws us over. I'm sure other members would still be interested in this when doing one on one pick-up games and stuff like  that. The performance difference would be worth it for those who want to give Hamachi a spin. :)

The city I live in definitely has its share of power outages, but all the equipment in my house is on battery backup (it was a fluke that one time, didn't have it on the brick then). Not that that would really help if the internet went under too...

Our 24/7 server is down and 75 seems to have put all server information in his wad's topic... :P

Any hope of resurrecting Chex? Anyone got any Phoenix downs?

I host servers every once in a while, but there's no way I can get a 24/7 server going.

Well Hamachi can be put into use if somebody wants to make a ChexQuest network then we can get games going easier without the stress of a 24/7 server going we can make servers at our leisure when its convenient for us to play.
