Allen Walker:
Not a big contribution, but I heard Minecraft got released on the 360 just recently.

matthias720:
And it's very profitable at that.

Atariangamer:
One thing I hate? Its so smooth.

The 360 has some seriously low specs, yet it runs as smooth as glass while I've got way faster computers that can struggle with it.

I hate Java. So much. Its why I don't want to learn it next semester, it has awful performance, especially for more advanced things, (and especially on the computers I like to use: older ones). The 360 gets a nice C#(I think) recode.

While the performance/compatibility may be questionable (also ironic because Java was intended to be built to work on any machine :P), you would much rather start off programming with Java, trust me. It's higher-level and much more user-friendly in terms of bugs and clarity of code as opposed to, say, C. Then again, that's for basic beginning programming, so your performance argument for advanced stuff still stands.

ChexMaster2109:
Oh pshh :P C++/C# is fine. Spend a week with a library book and you'll have the basics down. As for advanced stuff, you can learn most of it just by floating around the internet. Things like OpenGL and DirectX take a little time though.
