Yes, I got bored and made a skin for a game I don't own (yet)

Too bad PayPal is being a royal pain and refusing to let me use my Visa gift card for Minecraft when Valve accepted it just fine for Recettear :facepalm

It's a good thing that Minecraft's newest employee is already looking for an alternative to Paypal especially after that mess.

I hate to double-post, but this is too big to slide by:

Phew. Wow. I never shouldíve tried doing an update without fixing the performance issues.

Iíve disabled everything CPU intensive on the web server now, and put the downloads on an Amazon Cloud thingie. Since Iíve disabled payments as well, this means that Minecraft will be free to play until this all gets sorted.

For more information, go to http://www.minecraft.net/

If you haven't bought Minecraft yet, this is a perfect chance to try it out while you still can.

I knew the server was going too crash when the new 'seecret update' released, but I never thought too this extent.  At least Free Minecraft before a new server is made.

If you ever wanted to try Minecraft, even the littlest bit GO HERE NOW before it's to late!

Yo ZG, if the last of my birthday money goes above 30$, I'll grab a card I know works on PayPal and grab it for us.
Don't remember me as I was...I was an idiot.

Does Minecraft cost $15? I'm planning to get it after I get my laptop.

Minecraft costs about $13, but the price changes all the time due to the difference in currency strength. $15 is a good price to expect, however.

I'm quite literally a check drop away from buying it...that is, once the payments become available again.

It appears to be back online.
I know what you're thinking. No, I don't like peanut butter.

If I had to choose between the real world or the Chex Quest Fan forums; I'd choose the Chex Quest fan forums.

for now, at least.  The server will still randomly crash until he gets a new server box, though.

So I got this multi-island world and I built a house on one of the smaller islands. After a few days, I decide to make a staircase and dig below my house to make a basement.

Boy, did I ever find anything but a basement.

I found the most amazing thing ever for me. A underground cavern stretching endlessly underground, filled with tons of gold, coal, iron, mushrooms, red dust... Every single time I think I've found everything, I dig out some ore and find yet another passage with a massive ammount of branched tunnels with their own sub-branches.

All I know at this point is that I feel overwhelmed with amazement just from the sheer size of this thing

(Save can be found here, instructions for using are in the readme)

That isn't as uncommon as you would think. I found a cavern under my home/cave thing the stretched endlessly, and just as I thought it ended, I ended up finding it was a lot larger! I usually end up falling in every other lava pool, so be warned.

That's because you need mad Super Mario 64 skillz. ;)

In other news, using my stock of red dust, I've been making some interesting things, including a binary number display (though that was noobish, so I tore it down).
