( this is sooo bad. )

You need to use more than one shade of pink, use a brighter shade near the lightning, then steadily darken it away from the lightning.

Sweet job on the radsuit! Is it possible to make that the default skin of someone who picks up a radsuit powerup?

Good idea, but the number of jumps involved in that is too cumbersome for my project. Perhaps a morph?

I'd rather just keep it a skin, it is not very significant if the other player has a radsuit on in multiplayer.

Hmm... good point. If I have the time though, and get it to work with something like a morph, would you put it in?

Oh, and Nomekop, dont put the red outline all the way around the zorch areas. Notice how in 75's its only around the outside facing area?

It depends on how complicated it is, I want to keep the player simple so it's easy to re-use and hard to break.

Okay, I fixed up the Zorch effect. I am also working on a replacement for the Wolf SS, an upgraded Flem Mine. Let me know what you think on both.

Hmm... I still see some red areas that need to be cleaned up. And, just something I noticed, your flemoid is kinda small, and the large amounts of zorch doesn't quite look good. Maybe make the zorch areas really small? (or at least, a lot smaller)

Zorch looks best if it's on the outer edge of whatever the sprite is, it looks especially good on arms, hands, legs...

If you put it in the middle of a limb it is hard to make it look good. Zorch definitely needs room to radiate out (I say radiate but it looks more like an oozing effect) from the point of zorch contact.

Also, for zorch death states, ALWAYS start from the exterior and move in, unless you want to make some sort of gib sprite where part of the flemoids' parts zorch away before the others... I don't recommend that.

Okay, I'll take your advice! I also have worked on my WolfSS replacement some more. I'd like some criticism on it though...

I notice that the slime ball in the center looks 2-D, but the rest looks 3-D, try making it seem more like these two parts are attached, and give more shading on the ball. I'm not good at shading spheres, though, so I can't tell you how to do it.

Also, the metal shading on the legs and arms isn't good. Metal should be shinier, and have reflections. Unfortunately, I don't know how to shade metal, so I can't tell you how to improve it.

Okay.

(( Lets see, how can I edit Chukker's work without messing it up horribly... ))

Hallo.

There's a alpha set of panels i'm creating attached to this post. Wanna look at em, 75?

I ripped the lever from the force field switches I found in your latest alpha. I then used the base panel look from it to create the rest. These are all patches, not textures, and are meant to be put together to create textures. I'm hoping to make a fairly decent sized pack :D Also, you may want to use the same patch approach to the force field switches I found. There's a lot of them, and patches' take up less space.

Examples of these put into textures can be found next time we test my Extreme Survival map :D

I like how these textures look , especially the lights! Good work.

Added my own version of a cyclops zorcher. I'm not sure if I like this thing yet
