In case you missed my cleverly hidden announcement in the 'Oh shoot...' thread yesterday, here's the Real Thing:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - APRIL 2, 2008

Newmaps Beta 11 is indeed, released! Featuring such features as:

* The conclusion of Episode III!
* Sub-par mapping!
* More humor!
* A new character!

Oh, and I promise Episode IV will be much better than the thrown-together levels that were the end of Episode III. I completely ran out of things to do in the Flemoid Dimension. If had planned this whole thing better from the start, EP3 would have been much shorter.

What really kept me chugging along through the sludge of re-used gameplay, was the excitement of getting into Episode IV. I have lots of cool stuff to do in that. (That is, assuming I can pull off my grandiose scheme...)

First thing: port Newmaps to CheezyDoom for real... Then maybe release that one as beta 11.5.

one thing...start working on cutscenes...cuz your gonna need it! lol...hey, can you do another Whazzup! thing? mebe in GZDooM when you get the 'cheezy' newmaps done?

Heh, I was already thinking about doing something with Wazzup. What or when, has yet to be determined.

lol...hey, it could be a secret inside the secret level of episode 4! e4m10...its doable. or you could have some thing that when you use the tv, the commercial comes on.

lol...but when we started talking about the TUCQ switch to GZDoom, xbolt said that he would try and start off with CheezyDooM. I asked, and he said Cheezy sounded like GZ, so he sticks with it. But yes, now Legacy is cheezy cause its not being updated.

the instructions on your site on how to run it didn't work :(

I got it to work on Skulltag singleplayer, but I always started in a tiny box, and so I had to noclip through, and some of the maps were still DooM

It works in Doom Legacy ONLY. Don't play it in Skulltag.
