thanks but, i just figured out how to do it. but, i still was wondering if you knew how to do swing open doors with polyobjects.

I played through the file you put in your fan projects directory post,

There's a lot of empty rooms and the levels are really short (E1M1, 3 rooms, no flemoids, and then exit?) and some of them don't even have flemoids in them

I think you need to expand these maps and add more combat to them. Also there's some things that should be fixed with texturing but focus on making fun maps first.

You should make all your door actions repeatable so you can open the door more than once, players might want to go back through an area in your map.

Also don't forget to add secret areas (preferably strange/interesting areas, not just closets with guns in them), they make the game more interesting. Don't make them impossible to find (i.e. don't do what wolf3d did and have people press use on every single wall in the game to find them).

Yeah, I made all the doors repeatable and only one of them actually turned out repeatable, and i did put some secret areas in it such as:
In the church i made it so that when you fire at one of the windows it opens and there is a hidden room with a LAZ device in it.
In The third level, There is a vent with a computer area map in it.
And in the second episode one of the storage crates has a false wall and that has a LAZ device in it.
So yeah, i did have some secret areas and,
Actually I've Been Making it like this:

The 1st Episode has short maps, only a little combat, and a short church level.
And I am working on the second episode, which has more combat, longer maps and, even my house made in chex quest.

As of now i am working on E2M2: Ralston Storage Facility.

By the way, i could Give you E2M2 And E2M1 if you want.

Also,  i'm not very good at mapping.

And in E2M2 i plan on making an underwater cave, which i have already finished.
