I have no idea why this topic died, so I shall start anew!  And to start this random train, the ads in this site are giving me sites for "young Japanese singles!"  Odd. :-X

Anonymous (ChexGuy331):
This is number 4.

Atariangamer:
wait...I thought 3 was on the old site, then we had 4th one here called "new software edition". Now this would be 5...or with the theme of number titles, it would be 4.

Okay, anyone have their xp looking like this?

Well, its mine, and it was done COMPLETELY FREE.

Manny Cav:
Goodness gracious, atariangamer. That looks too much like Windows Vista to me. I want my XP PC to look separate from Vista. If I want it to look like Vista, I'll get a new Vista computer, or install it over or with XP on my current computer, all of which are extremely unlikely events in the foreseeable future.

I hope that isn't "Windows XP Service Pack 3" or any other similar hack. Who did that to your computer for "free", anyway?

Atariangamer:
:( I did. Vista looks great, but even after toying with it in Staples, I decided it really was bad, and not to even buy it. However, the graphics look awesome, and I knew there was some way to do it (I had just gotten Stardock WindowBlinds trial version). Well, I was looking for some ways when this video on youtube showed me some programs, albeit out of date. However, I got two things from it: Madotate 3d (makes the windows 3d for easier shuffling) and TopDesk (simulates Vista's task switching) and I had to find an alternate DL...it was bugged from the video.
I then decided to look around, and found someplace called crystalxp.net, that hosted BricoPacks. This can make your xp look like Vista, Linux, or Mac. It gave me the icons, bar at the top, and some cursors (not shown), and the taskbar and window styles. I then said "well, now to find a sidebar". Google's wouldn't download, so I found an alternative. But its a bad one. O well.

Sorry for the long post, but I think this is kinda awesome.
