CoMe HeRe WhEn YoU ArE BoReD to the 3rd power! (5th edition in other countries)
LAZ Trooper:
I am back from the weekend! We had our spring competition this weekend, and it was interesting. The main disappointment was that there was no Bible quiz and we were never asked our memory verses, which is just totally wrong. Second, one of the competitions was assembling a bridge with the pieces you're given, but it took at least 50 minutes for us to do it, and we were out in full sun in mid 80's weather, which was absolutely exhausting. In the end, we ended up winning for the second time in a row! :whale And with our younger guys winning their competition (actually their two teams won 2nd and 3rd, with an average winning 1st over the other churches) and our (first ever) winter competition win, we totally swept the year. That is as good as I ever hoped for for my last year of being able to do this. :whale

Shall I provide another Lengthy Update about my Life? I'll keep it brief.
Things are kind of Meh right now, no affirmative on another job yet, and do to the situation I am in now my last day is Friday at my current work place. Becoming less shy around girls and can actually talk to them without getting a dry-throat, moving on. I started transferring about 4gigs of music to my MP3 player Thursday and its still transferring it >_<. I'm learning more and more with Network + I am going to get the certification for it by the end of June, lest I face rent from my parents :-/. I switched churches, one that isn't just going through the motions like one I've been in for a long time. This one is different. My dad is not too happy, even though he said he was fine with when I started going there, :( Emoticons have mysteriously entered my typing habits, some how.
I get to volunteer tomorrow and paint a barn!
I'm currently cleaning my room, playing a mix of Minecraft, Starcraft II, and Borderlands. Although it's rare when I actually do play, and my parents still get upset when I take a couple hours to relax. I will probably be moving out within the next couple of years, once I get a steady job, it may be sooner.
The rest is all water under the bridge. Things are stressful but I know God uses everything for good so I just need to bear with it all.
Rexx out.

Say hello to the iBook G4. I just got one for 30$.
My gosh. The wonders a slight system bus speed increase and a technology generation increase will do.
Compared to my Titanium PowerBook G4, a 1Ghz G4 with 1GB SDRAM and IDE drives at 100mhz...
The iBook G4's small size, plus a 1.2Ghz G4 with 256MB DDR SDRAM and IDE drives at 133mhz is just nice and fast.
12" screen with good resolution and good color, two decent speakers that are normally quite quiet, but even when I amplify the output, they don't distort or lose the sound. My PowerBook doesn't do that either, but still, its nice. Its purely Ice white plastic with a good, solid keyboard and a large trackpad with button. Slot loading combo drive reads and writes CDs, and even plays DVDs. USB2.0, Firewire 400, fast ethernet, and built in modem finish off the ports, and it also has a mini VGA port for video output.
The number one thing that makes this better than my Powerbook? Airport Extreme.
Wireless G speeds, WPA security, all over a faster bus? AMAZING. Better than the PowerBook's Airport B implementation over a 16bit stream.
Even better? this thing friggin hauls on Safari. With 256MB of memory, I was expecting SLOW loading for everything. But no, my PowerBook G3 install of Tiger (which I raided for a working hard drive, the reason this thing cost 30$ was because the hard drive was shot) loads in about a minute, and then Safari just loads everything perfectly. I was honestly quite amazed when this thing worked like a champ. But I'm...quite pleased!
This thing's battery even works well, about 2 hours of usage on a full charge (about 50% capacity).
I just found a new multipurpose laptop. :D

Summer's here for me. Now to look forward to doing two AP classes next year.

Still got the Regents to take. I had the speaking part for the Chinese Regents on Friday (taking it again due to a 64 last year), I do believe I did better than last year. The reading/writing part is what made me fail, though. I also have Chemistry (mild worried), Trig (pretty worried), and US History (easy).
