I'm going to use this week to work on CQTLQ.
Hopefully I can have CQTLQ work with the Chex.wad as the IWAD. I'm waiting awhile to make CQTLQ an IWAD, that part will take awhile. I will do it eventually. By the end of this beta I hope to have 5 levels done, E1M1 - E1M5.

You're not going to use the chex.wad-compatible version I made?

I am going to use your version. I must have made a misunderstanding in my post.

At the moment I have been working on E1M1 a bit touching it up. I'm also fixing the translation between E1M1 too E1M2. Instead of a teleporter ending E1M1 I'm making a bridge that leads too the first room in E1M2. (Right screen shot.)

That looks PWNZ. So we will get a chex.wad compatible TLQ with a few graphical touchups?

I'm completely addicted to chex quest and the lost quest looks like fun...and everyone is raving about it, how can I resist that?...but I'm one of those people who can't open doors. How do you make it use the doom wad dealy? (*points at self* Me stupid) If that is too hard to explain to a computer idiot like myself, could you tell me the cheat code for getting around the doors?

MUST PLAY...thanks!

Did I mention that I am not good with computer-speak? Description is helpful for me.  ??? I'm not sure what that means...I'm not trying to be pesky. I promise!

EDIT: Do you mean the doomu.wad thingy? (Thingy is a technical term)

Yes. You pick from the episodes "Knee Deep in the Dead", "The Shores of Hell", "Inferno", and "Thy Flesh Consumed."

Sorry everybody about the lack of progress lately, blame school... <_<

I'm not sure about you, but I fell like my revision for E1M2 makes the layout way to confusing.  I'm planing on simplifying it, but not removing anything.  Wacha think?

I'd say save a backup of the complicated one, and simplify. That way if we want a 'challenge' we can try the complicated one.

Yes, keep a version of the complicated one as well.

It's not going to be a huge change.  One thing I'm changing is the location of the water fall, and the the room with the Flembrane is going to be edited a bit.
