Did you edit those? Does this have something to do with the lights on the Mini-zorcher?

I know what you're thinking. No, I don't like peanut butter.

If I had to choose between the real world or the Chex Quest Fan forums; I'd choose the Chex Quest fan forums.

The button is pressed on the firing frame instead of the one after.

A ha! I just popped open Chex Quest in DOSBox. It does look strange to see it fire before he presses anything.

No no no, you don't understand how the Mini Zorcher operates.

The primary trigger is activated via telepathy. However, the reloading process is still mechanical in nature. He presses the button after he fires to reload it.

LOLZ!!!!!  I seriously laughed at that!

Though it could be that there's some kind of button on the bottom that you don't see him press, and the top button is just the recharger, like the flash button on a camera.
