-Better zorchmatch arena (I can do the script and whatnot for this if you want)

-Bathrooms (of course, though kinda weird)

I've never been very interested in making lounge maps, so I don't have any ideas at the moment. I don't want more than 5 lounge maps in the .pk3.
For the Arcade room...
Maybe you start playing a game and you kinda "enter" the game (Your actually playing it). Maybe some flemoid based games.
Pool - DEFINATELY. If possible, I'll make a water slide!
Park - Yeah, very doable.
Security Room - Kind of like the Big Tv Room? But more TVs?
Zorchmatch arena - Hmm... Do we want this to be Co-op so we can have 3d floors? (Transparent pools, ceiling panes, tables, etc.)
Lounge area - Yeah!
Bathrooms - always in the lounge. I have the textures for it too. Maybe have flushing sounds when you leave the stall XD
Shooting Range - I thought about this. Not a bad idea. Maybe a little Target shooting game with flemoids and 75' targets?
Right now...
All I have is a Cafe, known as the Digital Cafe. There will be food items and such, maybe an appearance of a shopped head of Chef Excellence on the Cereal Chef's body.

I like the cafe, but what does the computer terminal do?
Computer Terminal may be just for decoration. Maybe have it reveal a Secret Area in the lounge.
By the way... maybe some hidden rooms?
It should have some sort of conference room/lecture hall type place.
And for people's rooms, there should be a hallway with plenty of room for people's creations so they're not limited by space. I'll link to a wad of my room I made once I get it uploaded.
We need something like the Elevator of Dimensions. I can do that.
Anyways, hidden rooms - How about a vault? Like, with lots of powerups. Or maybe someplace that you get to when you win an arcade game...
Ooh! We need a store, so that you can buy things with credits earned from arcade games and whatnot! We need gambling! A poker/blackjack/whatever room!
Yeah, a Credits system would be cool. some whaleware merchandise would be purchasable.

Ooo! The holodeck could be a perfect place for my crazy level idea (which might not really be practical as a real level, but hey). Leave that to me. It'll take a while and a honkload of scripting, but I'll take that.

I'm still trying to figure out what the layout of the lounge is going to be. I also have a hallway and am starting on a kitchen (Which has spawn switches for food)
Looks nice, but a few suggestions.
1. Erase the background behind the digital cafe logo, and make the neon part of it be a separate midtexture. That will make it look more 3d.
2. Use some brightmaps on the neon part.

Yeah, both of these sound good.
The west wing will be accessible by a staircase leading down and into a basement with an area boarded up. There will be a teleporter to the west wing, however.
Actually, what I was thinking...
have the base, and then have another part, where it gets steadily darker with almost completely covered windows. Maybe a music change here...
It should look about the same as the rest of the base, just darker and empty... maybe some upturned chairs and tables.
Then... the lampposts (as we talked about earlier). Don't post about that, I'd consider it a spoiler.

Man, I'm not sure what to do for the pool room... I tried making a pool with slopes, but the 3d floors screw up and a bunch of strange stuff happens... I might just have a big rectangular pool with some diving boards, or maybe just a lazy river or something... hmm... Also, I inserted more rooms from LAZ. They look great. More screens coming soon.

Any suggestions? So far, I have a sloped pool (slopes to deepen the pool), and 2 diving towers that use 3d floors.
Quite a bit accomplished today. Added some scripts and am going to start work on my room.

Putting it through speakers is not a good idea, because then you'd have cave story still going in the background.
I really like the cave story midi, by the way.

EDIT: The Items shop layout is complete. I just need to add switches and some scripts. There will also be a Runes shop and Zorcher shop. I was thinking of having a basic item inventory shop (for misc. items)
The teleport script for when you enter is there too, so now you start in a random airlock pod.

I'm working on a Ginger Ale Chaingun now.
I'm trying to figure out if I want it to fire railgun shots of ginger ale liquid or if I want it to shoot cans of Ginger Ale... what do you guys think?
Ginger ale cans. With a little splash damage. Perhaps make it like poison? (code it into the purple lampposts pain state)
are you going to give it a specific damage type, so it does small damage to normal stuff and large damamge to lampposts?

then that should be easy, just code it into the special pain state, use variables or custom inventory for cooldown, and damage it every time the loop comes around.

I may make secret rooms with a weapon spawn spot in there. (Mainly in the West Wing)
Why spawn spot? Why not just use regular weapons, since this is going to be cooperative, right? You can just set it so that the weapon stays when picked up (in the flags).

Okay, little update for the Ginger Ale Gun. There will be an alt fire for it. You will be able to shoot shots of Ginger Ale, or shoot cans of it out at the enemies (The Cans will explode)
Also, does anyone have any good suggestions for the sounds of the can exploding.

If you hadn't said that, I would've. I actually had another idea for ginger ale awesomeness, but it would be hard to sprite and would be a very slow weapon. The basic idea: the ammo is cans of ginger ale, and you hold on in your hand, and when you press fire, you shake the can for a few seconds, and then open it so it sprays. Yeah, kind of hard to make...
hmmm... it wouldn't be too bad, as you can reuse the can image.
as for the sound, maybe just a regular, short, qiuck, explosion? (excuse is compressed gas)

EDIT: Erm, the wad don't work. Skulltag just freezes when it almost loads it completely (after I fixed some errors it was giving me with the wad...), and Doom Builder complains about not having enough memory when I try to load it there.

Did you fix it with XWE? the not having enough memory thing is something XWE does to the wad. Open it up again with XWE and take a look - you won't like it. Next time, before you exit, select a sprite. (don't ask why)

QFT. NEVER Open the wad up with XWE and DB at the same time... you risk destroying your work. It's possible to do this without the corrupting the WAD file, but risky and not worth it.
actually, that doesn't screw up the wad, but it makes it so you can't save it due to I/O errors. (for obvious reasons)
what does make your wad screwed up:
for sure:
leaving your cursor selected in a lump (i.e., you just edited some text and your cursors still blinking where it was) when you close the wad
what I think:
having decorate, gldefs, a sound, or PNAMES selected when you close (and save) the wad.
I had some errors with textures where pnames got some text screwed up, but the most i've gotten is everything changing type and data values, which is what happened to you. XD
How is progress?
Sadly, i've had homework, so not much. I should start up again soon, though.
We need something to make the hallways more interesting... Also, I don't see any real distinct "wings" to it. Also noticed you haven't put in my room.
Something strange I've encountered while wandering: in two places, once in the pool room, once in a long hall, when you're far away from one wall, that walls turns into a giant HOM wall, but it's fine when you get close to it...
yeah. i noticed that too. and the one in pool room happens where theres no linedef. just in mid-sector
@LAZ: I put in the textures for your room but did not get to putting in your room.
And yes, there has been a strange HOM effect I've been trying to fix but it keeps moving around. It started in the entrance, then moved to the meeting hall, so... I don't know ???

Credit system up and running! Works perfectly! For reference, I have a large coin giving 500 credits, a small coin giving 100 credits, and was thinking the commonus should be 50. I'll include an example or two when I incorporate it into the lounge.
