How come Chex Warrior never end up becoming the mascot for Chex

So one thing I never did get it though. How come Chex Warrior never end up becoming the mascot for Chex, especially after such a successful marketing campaign back in 97 and it even got awards for advertisement and marketing as well.

Maybe the company didn't think that it would be helpful or necessary to have a mascot for Chex specifically.
