In the next release of The New Chex Quest: Generation 2, I will include "Hyper-Charged" weapons that will be activated by an inventory item similar to the Tome of Power called the "Hyper-Charge Zorchpack". It will also give ammo when it is activated. One example of a "Hyper-Charged" weapon is the Hyper Charged Mini Zorcher:

As you can see, the Hyper-Charged Mini Zorcher deals double damage, but uses 3 Mini Zorch ammo. It also has a decreased horizontal spread, meaning increased accuracy. The Rapid Zorcher will have an increased firing rate, as well as the Chain Zorcher. Of course, not all weapons will be powered up. The LAZ Device and the Liquid Zorcher shall not be powered up. They are too powerful already.

lol, that liquid zorcher is a BEAST. Dang, who thought of that? GJ on that...first time seeing it was today.

Also, is this long lasting, like a beserker? or is it for the whole game? or is it for a time limit?

Shoot, why don't you just do ALL of the zorchers? After all, don't other Skulltag upgrades go for all weapons?

Hm. Perhaps I will power up the LAZ Device and Liquid Zorcher.

Skulltag doesn't have WeaponLevel2 and the fist, chainsaw, and pistol are not upgraded.

I mean with the Skulltag upgrades in normal Skulltag. They're the two most powerful weapons (the BFG9000 and the BFG 10,000), like the LAZ Device and the Liquid Zorcher are in your mod.

Eh...only the bfg 9000 needs upgrades IMO. The logic working of bfg is fire a shot (worth hitpoints), then there are 40 lines of damage spread in the direction you fired the shot (in relation to the map, not you) Maybe...make the hit points go allaround?

Also, the BFG10k is a sucky weapon. The liquid zorcher is great, tho. It needs no lvl2, as better than the liquid would be...dangerous to the whole room .

I think I'll try to do that, Atarian. I also agree about the BFG 10000. It is lame. IT HAS NO BLAST RADIUS!!! >:(

I have an idea for the Liquid Zorcher. BUT! In the next release I'm going to make you have to find a Hypercharge Zorchpack to find out what it is!

The Hypercharge Zorchpack is a red Zorchpack with animated zorch coming out of both sides. It will be an Inventory item, meaning that you will need to use the "enter" key to activate it. I'm also making other inventory items, cuz I think they're cool.
