HAHAHA! I defy you to be frustrated! I have played CQPZ, but without that stupid chexini.ini.

Only 5 levels? That's sad, in a sorry sort of way.  :'(

I like the dialogue, but I hate small, twisty corridors, in all mods.

Good job!

One is a test, so only four. X.X
Anyways, I'm glad you liked it. :)
But what should I do about Twisting Tunnels? :/

Erm... I have a question: Why are the Bipedici shooting slime balls?

Yeah, I just noticed that too, the normal Bipedici shoot balls of slime just like the BWAs...odd...

But I liked the store, pretty cool.

They actually do that as a way of looking fancy instead of stupid short range hitscans. >:(
And also, the commonus does it too.
I replaced every short range attack with slimeballs, except for the demon bite attack. :P

A short range hitscan certainly doesn't make much sense, but neither does altering the Flemoids to shot slime balls at an angle like that. The best thing to do would be to alter them to simply use melee attacks.

EDIT: Also, it looks like you made a new IWAD for your project and split the main part of the project into a separate PWAD. Since you're offering them in the same download, why don't you just merge them into a single WAD, instead of splitting them?

Because that would break the WAD, and because most of the textures being used are ALREADY in the WAD, and it would override some of my 'fixed-up' textures, and it would mix up the flemoids, and...
In short, too much of a HASSLE. X.X
Also, I find it cool when they shoot slimeballs with gravity. :) Melee atacks suck...

My thoughts...

It was good...I dont like the weird freezing cutscenes...why not make full cutscenes? (with cameras and such)

I liked the ideas, Its all good mapping IMO, and I get what you're doing...But why on earth did my screen shrink to only one part of it after "big city"? it was really tiny....

I like it, its cool...keep going!

If the bipedicus shoot slimeballs, they won't approach you to attack, they'll stand across a room and fire a couple of times before actually getting close enough to hurt you.

Perhaps pair a short-range hitscan or a melee attack alongside spraying some slime projectiles? The projectiles don't need to do anything, just for looks.

Melee atacks suck...
If that is the case, then why did you let the Cycloptis keep its melee attack? :D Seriously, what the Commonus and the Bipedicus have in the original game is, in essence, melee attacks (hitscan attacks they they use only at point blank range). Making them melee attacks would fix the "stupid short range hitscan attacks", and at the same time, keep the original Chex Quest spirit and canon.

Atariangamer:
Wierd, freezy cutscenes? What? I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE A puppiesING CUTSCENE!
*ahem* Sorry about that. ^^; Anyways, I have no idea why your resolution warped at that point. I find going into GZDooM, changing into Windowed and back again fixes it. ^^

Captain Ventris:
I have fixed that for the next beta. When I get back it may be released as a patch.

Manny:
No, I mean Melee-Melee attacks suck! Like, what the imp does when close to you. It's hard to explain. Anyways, I haven't done the Demon-based twins because I can't get the damage values right or figure out how to display it. x.x I'm not changing them to puppiesing melee attacks. I'm avoiding them as much as I can, but the Demon attack is a GOOD type of melee attack. I'm keeping it.

The freezy cutscenes...I walk into a room, then just freeze while some text rolls across...(one time I was in a corner crouching, popped up real quick to take a final shot, zipped back down, then was frozen there. Why not put camera objects in there and make it a real cutscene all Glassyman like...(but keep your language and content DOWN lol)

The close range hitscan would be a good thing to keep. A melee attack isn't a good thing to have. They are different things, and AFAIK, you cant change the mele...
